Sanijay Watts,
Men's Basketball, 2008-10
Watts earned All-America honors during both of his seasons with Mules Basketball. He was the 2010 MIAA and South Central Region Player of the Year and a two-time First Team All-MIAA selection. He is the only two-year player in UCM history to record more than 1,000 points and 500 rebounds. He led the MIAA in scoring (21.7 ppg) and rebounding (9.5 rpg) during his senior season and ranks 12th all-time at UCM in scoring (1,214 points) and 14th in rebounding (507 rebounds). His 21.7 points per game as a senior is 11th best single-season mark in program history and his 673 total points that year are eighth best. His 295 rebounds that year are fourth most in a single-season and his 9.5 rebounds per game average is 16th best. He was a part of the 2008-09 Final Four team and the 2009-10 MIAA Championship team that advanced to the Sweet Sixteen. He was named the Vernon Kennedy Award winner as UCM's Top Male Senior Student-Athlete and was selected to play in the NABC Division II All-Star Game following his senior season.
