Mules Track and Field (2009-13)

Brent Vogel rewrote the Mules Track and Field record book in his four years at Central Missouri. The multi-eventer won two national championships and was an eight-time All-American, tied for the fourth-most All-American awards in team history. His National Championship score of 5,760 set a new NCAA record in the indoor heptathlon. Following his national championship, Vogel was named the USTFCCCA National and Regional Indoor Field Athlete of the Year. A decorated champion, Vogel was also the 2013 Division II Track and Field/Cross Country Capital One Academic All-American of the Year. He was a four-time MIAA Scholar Athlete and MIAA Academic Honor Roll member along with being co-SAAC President. As a senior, Vogel won the UCM Vernon Kennedy Award and the MIAA Ken B. Jones Award.
