South Recreation Complex

The South Recreation Complex is situated in the southeast part of Warrensburg (Junction of Hwy. 13 South & DD Highway) and includes the Jennies softball field, three other softball fields used for various events, the Jennies soccer field, and a building that houses both the softball and soccer coaches offices, locker rooms, storage area, and rest rooms.

The first phase of the complex included the construction of the Jennies Softball Field, which features permanent bleacher seating, spacious dugouts, fenced-in bullpens, a scoreboard and a sprinkler system, as well as three additional fields that are used for tournaments and intramurals. The softball field has dimensions of 200 feet to all fields and has an eight-foot-high outfield fence.

Phase two brought Jennies Soccer Field, as well as the main building that houses coaches offices, locker rooms, storage areas and rest rooms. Jennies Soccer Field comes complete with scoreboard, lights, and bleacher seating for 500. In the spring of 2005, UCM added a new sound system and permanent awnings to the bench areas. In 2008, a new fence was added around the field with new seating along the east side of the field, a press shed and new dugout covers coming in the fall of 2016. In the spring of 2017, Jennies Field was outfitted with a new Daktronics scoreboard.

The Jennies Soccer team is 122-26-7 since beginning play at the South Recreation Complex in 2002. Jennies Softball is 196-77 at South Rec since 2001.
