Russ Lotspeich
Last summer, Central Missouri State athletics lost one of its greatest fans when Russ Lotspeich passed away. An alum of Central Missouri State, he was a founding member of the Central Missouri State Wheel Team and a life-long supporter of Mules and Jennies athletics, particularly football, basketball, and golf. In addition, this past season the inaugural Russ Lotspeich Player of the Game was presented. The award is given to the Mules’ Most Valuable Player during the Homecoming game. The first Russ Lotspeich Golfer of the Year Award will also be presented this spring.
