In coach Peggy Martin’s 20th season, the 1995 Jennies’ volleyball team may have logged more miles than any other Jennies’ team, as it started the season with a trip to Hawaii and finished the season in Florida, finishing fourth at the NCAA Division II Championship with a 37-8 record.  The Jennies won their 14 th straight MIAA title with a 16-2 record, then won the NCAA regional on their home court, beating West Texas A&M in five games.  At the Division II Championship at Barry University, the Jennies beat Nebraska-Kearney to reach the semi-finals, but then lost to Northern Michigan and Cal State-Bakersfield to finish fourth.  Senior Krista Geick was a first-team all-America selection and senior Rachel Gatewood was a second-team all-America selection.  Martin was named South Central Region Coach of the Year.
