2004-05 Mules Basketball
The 2004-05 Mules basketball squad won the MIAA Regular Season Co-Championship, the first since 1985 for Central Missouri. MIAA Coach of the Year Kim Anderson’s Mules posted a 24-7 overall mark, and went 14-4 in the MIAA. They also won the MIAA Tournament Championship for first time since 1984, and made an NCAA Tournament appearance for the first time since 1997, earning the No. 2 seed in the regional. They were led by first-team All-MIAA selection Michael Hicks, second-team picks Corey Brown and Mike Suggs, and All-Defensive Team honoree Pat Schumacher.
