One of the best two-way players in Mules baseball history, he was a first-team All-American pitcher in 1998 as well as earning Region Pitcher of the Year honors with 13 wins that season. He was a first-team All-MIAA pitcher in 1998 and 1999. With an ERA of 2.17, he was the MIAA Co-MVP in 1999 along with teammate Matt Norfleet. He ranks third in school history in wins (30), fourth in innings pitched (253), eighth in strikeouts (174), and tied for seventh in home runs (26). He set then-UCM and MIAA records with 13 wins (and 13 consecutive wins) in 1998.
