Miller helped lead the 2010-11 Mule golf team to the MIAA Championship, in addition to a tied for third-place showing at the NCAA Division II National Championship and a tied for fourth-place finish at the NCAA-II Regional Championship. He was a two-time PING All-American and three-time All-MIAA selection and was the MIAA Player of the Year as a senior. He ended his UCM career with 23 career top-10 finishes, 16 career top-five performances and six career tournament titles, including the 2009 and 2011 MIAA Championships. Miller posted a 72.6 stroke average as a senior, which ranks fifth in program history.
