Michael Hicks (Men’s Basketball, 2004-06)
Michael Hicks was a 2005-06 All-American, a first team selection by the NABC and a third team selection by Division II Bulletin. He was a two-time first team All-MIAA selection and twice named to the MIAA Tournament All-Tournament team, including MVP honors in 2004-05 when the Mules won their first MIAA tournament title since 1983-84. He averaged 21.5 points per game as a senior, the 13th highest single-season total in UCM history; ranks 13th on UCM alltime scoring list with 1,210 points in two seasons. Hicks is the UCM single-season record holder with 116 made three-point field goals, 18 more than second place and second in career threepoint field goals made with 191 in two years. He is just 16 shy of the all-time record which was set by a four-year player. He is currently playing professional basketball in Poland.
