Pat Staszak – Volleyball (1982-85)
A four-year starter at middle hitter, Staszak was one of the first great players in the Jennies storied volleyball history. She led the Jennies to their first ever NCAA Regional Tournament appearance in 1983 and was chosen team Most Valuable Player in 1984 and 1985. An honorable mention All-American in 1985, Staszak also was a three-time all-conference selection, and as a senior led the Jennies in block solos, block assists, total blocks, kills, attempts, and hitting percentage. For her career, she ranks fifth in school history in block assists (357), ninth in block solos (94), and sixth in total blocks (451). She also was named first-team on Jennies Silver Anniversary Team (1970-94).
