Cross Country: Ran in three races all at the 5K distance ... Set a new personal-best at the Chile Pepper Invitational (Oct. 5) running 22:01.4 ... Earned the MIAA Academic Excellence award, the conferences highest academic honor and made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Indoor Track: Ran in two home meets during the season ... In the 3K at the UCM Invitational (Jan. 24) ran a personal-best 11:53.28 ... Placed fifth the in the 5K at the UCM Mule Relays (Feb. 7) finishing in 21:01.99.

2018-19
Cross Country: Competed in six races for UCM as a freshman ... Opened the year with a 22:10.07 5K at the SBU Invitational (Sept. 1), her fastest 5K of the season ... Also set a season-best in her first 6K of the season, running 26:33.3 at the Kansas Rim Rock Classic (Sept. 29) ... Ran for UCM at the conference meet (Nov. 3), finishing in 27:15.6.

Indoor Track: Ran in three meets, running the mile and 3,000m events ... Finished fourth in the 3K running 11:57.05 at the UCM Classic (Feb. 16) for a season-best ... In her first career mile race, ran 6:13.06.

Outdoor Track:  In three outdoor track meets ran the 5K and 1500m events ... Started the outdoor season with a 20:12.13 5K at the WashU Distance Carnival (Mar. 30) ... Ran the 1500m at the SBU Invitational (Apr. 6), crossing the line in 5:31.38 ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

In High School: Ran for four years at Lee's Summit North HS for coaches Ryan Shortino and Colby Matthews ... Qualified for the cross country state championships three times ... Ran personal-bests of 5:33 for 1600m, 12:08 for 3200m and a cross country 5K best of 20:05 ... A five-sport athlete, also was a part of the soccer, basketball and swim teams.

Personal: Daughter of Stuart and Stacy Simpson ... Nursing major with a minor in Spanish.
