2019-20: Made it to the NCAA National Championships in the pentathlon for the first time after scoring a personal-best 3604 at the MIAA Championships ... That score finished fourth at the conference meet and put her 10th all-time at UCM ... It also earned her her third NCAA All-American award and was 17th nationally heading into the meet ... Also competed in the open high jump at conference, also finishing fourth after clearing 5-5.25 ... Won the pentathlon at the UCM Mule Relays scoring 3529 points and finished first or second in all five events ... Jumped a personal-best 18-2.25 in the long jump at that meet ... Earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award and was an MIAA Academic Honor Roll member ... Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19. 

2018-19: Redshirted, did not compete

2017-18: (Indoor): Competed in the combined-events and jumps in her second season as Jennie...Was the teams top high-jumper and long-jumper during the indoor season...Placed second at the Pentathlon at the Happy Holidays Combined Events scoring 3323 points...Set a personal best in long jump at the MSSU Lion Open & Multi placing third with a leap of 18-2.25...Had a top jump in high jump at the MIAA Indoor Conference meet where she jumped 5-6 to place fourth and score for the Jennies...Also competed in the Pentathlon at the conference meet where she placed second with 3549 points...Competed at the NCAA Indoor National Championships in the Pentathlon and the high jump...Placed fifth in the high jump clearing a personal best of 5-8.5...Set a personal best in the Pentathlon placing fourteenth with 3555 points. (Outdoor): Set a personal best in the 100H placing third at the Gorilla Classic with a time of 15.45...Traveled to the Kansas Relays and completed in the Heptathlon placing second scoring 4703 points and setting a personal best. Had a top finish in the 200m dash running a 26.50 to place ninth...Had a top finish in the long jump where she placed second at the Gorilla Classic with a leap of 18-0.5...Competed and placed in both the high jump and Heptathlon at the MIAA Conference meet...Placed third in the high jump clearing 5-6...Placed sixth in the heptathlon with 4513 points...At the NCAA Outdoor National meet took eighth in the high jump clearing 5-6..Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll...Named an MIAA Scholar-Athlete.

2016-17: (Indoor): Competed in the multi-events and the high jump as a freshman … Scored a season-best 2998 in the pentathlon which she scored at the Mule Relays … Performed in the high jump at the MIAA Championships and took seventh place to score for UCM, clearing 5-4.25. (Outdoor): Scored for the Jennies in both the high jump and the heptathlon at the MIAA Championships … She jumped over the 5-5.75 bar to take sixth in the open high jump … She also scored a personal-best 4608 in the heptathlon, third-best for UCM in 2017 … At the Gorilla Classic, she set a personal-best in the high jump by clearing 5-7 to provisionally qualify for nationals.

In High School: Two-time state champion in the high jump ... Also, three year volleyball letterwinner at Blue Valley Northwest HS … Helped Blue Valley Northwest to three Sub-State championships and finished second in the class 6A volleyball tournament in 2013 and 2015 and third place in 2014 … Named to the 2015 Missouri/Kansas Volleyball All Star Team.

Personal: Daughter of Rex and Gretchen VanBuskirk … Majoring in Criminal Justice ... Also competes on the UCM Volleyball team.
