Summary

Biography

As a freshman: Young went 13-12 overall and  7-3 in duals. He recorded two pins, and two major decisions. He competed at both the MIAA championships and at regionals for the Mules. He placed fifth in the amateur division at the Nebraksa-Kearney Open.

Young redshirted the 2013-14 season. 

In high school: Young was a four time letter winner and two time District Champ. He finished fourth at State as a freshman, third as a junior, and second as a senior. He also made the Academic All-Conference team three times. 
Odessa High School was the District Champion in 2011 and 2012, they were also Conference Champs in 2012. They went on to place fifth at State in 2012. Last year, Odessa High School was second in the District and finished third in State.   
Young also played football for Odessa. He made the All-Conference Defense and Offense team twice. He was also name All District Running Back, and All District Defensive Back.  
Young is the son of Brian and Stephanie Young. He is majoring in Design and Drafting.
