Summary

Biography

As a junior: Boyd went 11-18 overall and 4-8 in duals during the 2014-15 season. His best finish during the season was a fifth place finish at the Simpson Invitational. Boyd recorded a career highs in falls with five and major decisions with two.

As a sophomore: Boyd went 9-12, with a 2-2 dual record, and was second at the Denker and Jim May-Hem Open. He tied for second in most wins by technical fall on the team (2). He also had three falls, his fastest fall coming at 1:10, and a major decision, earning 39 team points. 


As a freshman: he had a 9-28 record last season, with three falls, one tech fall and 15 take downs. 
In high school: Boyd was a four year letterwinner. He made the  All-State, All-Conference and All-District teams. His senior season he had a 48-6 overall record, and a career record of 114-56.
Boyd is the son of Mike and Patty Boyd. He is an education major.
