Biography

As a sophomore: Sparks finished his sophomore campaign with an overall record of 8-13. His highest finish came at Luther Hill Invitational where placed sixth at 184 lbs. Sparks also competed at the MIAA Championships at 197 lbs. 

As a freshman: Sparks went 10-17 overall, and 1-3 in duals. Sparks finished fifth twice at opens during the 2014-15 season, first at the Roger Denker Open and again at the Missouri Valley College Open.

Sparks redshirted the 2013-14 season but competed unattached in tournaments, including a sixth place finish at the Roger Denker Open. 
 
In high school: Sparks placed fifth at 6A State.
 
Personal: Majoring in criminal justice ... Son of Todd and Diane Sparks.
