As a junior: Goodman opened the 2014-15 season with a second place finish at the UCM open. He followed that up with another      second place finish, this time at the Jimmy May-Hem Open. Goodman went on to place third at the MIAA Championships at 285 pounds and earned All-MIAA honors in the process. He finished with a 13-8 overall record and a 3-2 record in duals

Before Central Missouri: Goodman was a NJCCA National Champion in 2013-14 at Lincoln Community College and placed third at nationals in 2012-13.

In high school: Goodman lettered all four years, and qualified for state three times. He placed third twice and fourth once at state, and was the JV State champion his freshman year. He was All-Conference and All-Region four times, and All-State three times. Goodman also lettered in football four times and track once.
