EMPORIA, Kan. – The University of Central Missouri Track & Field team wrapped up the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with six All-America performances on Saturday, May 23, at Francis G. Welch Stadium on the Emporia State University campus.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Grizell Scarlett finished as the national runner-up in both the 100m and 200m dashes for her third and fourth First Team All-America honors this season. She posted a time of 11.33 in the 100m dash and 23.25 in the 200m for her second-place finishes.
- Nolan Vancauwemberghe secured his second First Team All-America accolade in 2025-26 with a fourth-place finish in the men's 110m hurdles, posting a time of 13.97.
Throws
- The Jennies had three First Team All-Americans in the women's javelin. Karsyn Kanzler finished sixth with a personal best mark of 49.25m (161-7) for her second-career All-American honor, while Addison Throckmorton also secured her second-career All-American performance with a seventh-place finish at 48.85m (160-3). Ally Fox rounded out the Jennies All-Americans in the event, placing eighth at 46.98m (154-1) for her second-career All-American honor. Kanzler's personal best mark of 161-7 ranks third-best in school history.
For the three-day meet, Central Missouri tallied seven First Team All-Americans:
Kristen Jones (heptathlon),
Grizell Scarlett (100m, 200m dash),
Nolan Vancauwemberghe (110m hurdles),
Karsyn Kanzler (javelin),
Addison Throckmorton (javelin), and
Ally Fox (javelin).
In the final team standings, the Jennies placed 10th with 24 points while the Mules tied for 36th with five points.
