COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Central Missouri Jennies Cross Country team competed at the Gans Creek Invitational on Friday afternoon, Sept. 26, from the Gans Creek Cross Country Course hosted by the University of Missouri-Columbia.
The Jennies finished 14
th out of 24 competing teams in the women's 6k race with 450 points.
Freshman
Marianna Bizon paced UCM, finishing the race in 16
th place overall with a time of 22:34.7, while fellow freshman
Madison Cross ran the 6k in 25:14.7 for a 131
st place finish.
California, Mo. native
Kenzleigh Goans posted a time of 25:37.1, good enough for a 143
rd place finish, plus
Daniella Gonzalez placed 184
th with a time of 27:01.3, and
Kayli Cameron rounded out the scoring for the Jens in 194
th position in 27:50.7.
Central Missouri Cross Country returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 11, for the Brian T. Simpson Invitational, beginning at 9:20 a.m. from the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo.
