PITTSBURG, Kan. – The University of Central Missouri Cross Country teams competed at the 2025 MIAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 25, from the Four Oaks Golf Course in Pittsburg.
The Mules finished 10th, scoring 274 points, while the Jennies finished 11th with 301 points.
The Mules were paced by sophomore
Jaise Bardwell's 60th place finish in a time of 26.19.49, while Amoret, Mo. native
Kollin Tidman finished the 8k race in 26:42.17 for 52nd
position.
Freshman
Patrick Hardesty finished in 64th-place with a time of 26:52.79, plus, Stockton, Mo. native
Colby Adams crossed the finish line at 26:58.88 in 69th-place.
Junior
Sam Mathis rounded out the scoring for UCM with a 85th-place finish in 26:58.88 for good measure.
For the Jennies, freshman
Marianna Bizon earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA honors, finishing the 6k race with a personal-best time of 22:16.58 in 14th position, while fellow freshman
Madison Cross placed 83rd with a time of 25:18.63.
California, Mo. native
Kenzleigh Goans posted a personal-best time of 25:25.18, good enough for a 85th-place finish, plus
Daniella Gonzalez placed 94th with a personal-best time of 26:19.84, and
Kayli Cameron rounded out the scoring for the Jens in 101st position in 26:50.66.
Central Missouri Cross Country returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 8, for the NCAA D-II Central Regional, beginning at 10:30 a.m. from the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Mo.
