• Fourth-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball is scheduled to host the Newman Jets for their final match of the regular season Thursday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. inside the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
• Thursday night's match will also be Senior Night for Jennies volleyball student-athletes

Hannah VanBuskirk. They will be honored in a ceremony after the conclusion of the match.
• With a win, the Jennies can clinch at least a share of their 25th MIAA regular season championship in program history.

Hannah Engelken posted a career-high 18 kills and
Ally Offerdahl tallied her 15th double-double of the season leading No. 4-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball to a 3-1 victory over the Central Oklahoma Bronchos Tuesday, Nov. 9, inside Hamilton Fieldhouse. The set scores were 25-13, 23-25, 25-21 and 25-18.
• Engelken compiled her career-best 18 kills on 39 attempts with only three errors for a .385 attacking percentage and had a match-high six blocks in the contest.
• Offerdahl picked up her team-high 15th double-double of 2021 after dishing out a match-best 47 assists with 17 digs, while
Audrey Fisher added 16 kills and hit .385, marking the 22nd time this season she has hit at least .300 in a match, including the last 15 straight contests.
Rylie Barnum had a match-high 34 digs.
• Central Missouri outhit Central Oklahoma in the match, .239 to .146, and bested the Bronchos in kills (65-53), aces (3-2), blocks (9-4), assists (60-50) and digs (110-106).
Jennies in the MIAA Statistics
• Entering Thursday, the Jennies lead the MIAA in blocks (2.38 per set), rank second in opponent hitting percentage (.142) and digs (18.82 per set), third in hitting percentage (.258), and fourth in assists (12.96 per set), kills (14.13 per set) and service aces (1.53).
• Individually,
Hannah Engelken leads the MIAA in blocks, averaging 1.22 blocks per set with 118 total blocks and seventh in hitting percentage at .336, while
Ally Offerdahl is fifth in assists with 9.70 assists per set on 941 total assists.
Audrey Fisher is third in hitting percentage at .374, sixth in blocks at 0.95 per set with 92 total blocks, and eighth in kills with 3.21 per set, and
Kersti Nix is ninth in hitting percentage at .299 and 11th in kills with 2.97 per set.
Rylie Barnum is fourth in digs with 508 digs and 5.29 digs per set, and
Aubree Bell is 12th in service aces with 0.29 per set and 25 total service aces.
Individual Milestones
•
Ally Offerdahl is sixth in program history in career assists with 4,887 and fourth in career assists per set at 10.70 entering Thusrday's match.
• In the latest NCAA Division II national statistics, Offerdahl is third in the Division II active career leaders assists list with her 4,887 career assists.
• Fisher is currently seventh in career hitting percentage at .347 in 458 career sets played.
.300 or Better
• Under Coach Piontek, Central Missouri 126-0 when they hit at least .300. While it hasn't happened often under Piontek, UCM is just 3-14 when surrendering a .300 attack percentage to their opponent. The Jennies have hit .300 or better in six matches this season.
UCM in the Polls
• The Jennies are ranked fourth in the latest AVCA Division II Coaches' Poll. UCM is one of four MIAA volleyball programs in the latest poll, as Washburn is No. 2, Northwest Missouri is No. 5 and Nebraska Kearney is No. 12.
• Central Missouri remained number one in the second NCAA Division II Central Region Rankings release Wednesday, Nov. 10. Fellow MIAA members Northwest Missouri (2), Washburn (3) and Nebraska Kearney (6) also are in the most recent rankings. The top eight teams in the final rankings will advance to the NCAA-II Central Region Tournament, which is hosted by the No. 1-ranked team in the final rankings.
• In the MIAA preseason poll, the Jens were picked to finish fourth behind Nebraska-Kearney, Washburn and Northwest Missouri. They finished with 75 points.
