Three Jennies Volleyball Student Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District® Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – Central Missouri volleyball senior Kayla Baer, outside hitter Shaye Koski, and defensive specialist / outside hitter Brenna Kelly have been selected as 2025 CSC (College Sport Communicators) Academic All-District® team members for their efforts on the court and in the classroom, announced on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
 
Baer, a native of Wesley Chapel, Fla., majoring in Computer Science, compiled a 3.97 GPA during the fall semester, earning her first CSC Academic All-District® selection.
 
The Second Team All-MIAA setter led the Jens with 1,101 assists on the season, averaging 10.9 assists per set, adding 246 digs, 71 kills, and 37 blocks. Baer ended the season with 12 matches of 40 or more assists, including seven matches with 50 or more, highlighted by a season-high 54 against Emporia State (Oct. 17).
 
Koski, a native of Parkville, Mo., majoring in Business Management, finished the fall semester with a 3.95 GPA, earning her first CSC Academic All-District® selection after being a MIAA Academic Newcomer Honor Roll award winner in 2024.
 
The 2025 MIAA Honorable Mention outside hitter was second on the team with 279 kills, averaging 2.97 per set, adding 87 digs, and her 41 total blocks ranked third for the Jens. The junior had 17 matches with double-digit kills, including a season-high 20 against Hillsdale (Sept. 12).
 
Kelly, a native of Aurora, Colo., majoring in Biology, finished the fall semester with a 3.66 GPA, earning her first CSC Academic All-District® selection after being a MIAA Academic Newcomer Honor Roll award winner in 2024.
 
Brenna collected 179 digs, which ranked fourth on the team, averaging 2.06 digs per set, adding 18 service aces for good measure. Kelly registered eight matches with double-digit digs, including a season-high 19 during the 3-1 (19-25, 25-16, 25-18, 25-20) victory over No. 1 Central Oklahoma (Oct. 4) inside Hamilton Field House in Edmond, Okla.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
