ST. JOESPH, Mo. – No. 6 Central Missouri Jennies (20-8, 11-5 MIAA) fell to No. 3 Washburn Ichabods (25-3, 13-3 MIAA), by a final score of 3-1 (17-25, 25-11, 17-25, 12-25) Thursday, Nov. 20, in the 2025 MIAA Volleyball Championship Quarterfinals, from St. Joseph Civic Arena, in downtown St. Joseph, Mo.
The Ichabods took the opening set 25-17, but Central Missouri began the second frame on an 11-3 run before evening the match with a 25-11 victory.
Washburn responded with victories in the third and fourth sets, advancing to the MIAA Semifinals led by Corinna McMullen's double-double performance.
The Jens were led offensively by First Team All-MIAA selection
Rachel Ziesman's match-high 17 kills, adding five blocks and two digs for good measure, while Honorable Mention All-MIAA outside hitter
Shaye Koski had eight kills, two blocks, and two digs.
