The Series• The Mules lead the all-time series with Lindenwood 22-8 and a 3-3 mark under
Kyle Crookes.
• UCM has won the first two meetings this season, 4-3 in 11 innings in game one and 5-1 last week in Warrensburg.
• The Lions won three of four games in St. Charles last year to close out the regular season.
• UCM won the opener 13-4, but LWU rallied to win the final three by scores of 4-3, 13-4 and 4-3.
Lindenwood• Lindenwood enters the mid-week contest at 13-15 overall and 7-13 in MIAA play after taking two out of three games from Missouri Western over the weekend.

Last time outApril 3, 2016 - (JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.) -- The Mules hit three home runs to slug their way past Lincoln 13-5 on Sunday afternoon at the LU Baseball Field, completing the three-game sweep.
   The Mules (19-8, 17-3 MIAA) got out to an early lead scoring four times in the top of the first. Lincoln (1-29, 0-20 MIAA) scored one in the first on a solo home run and another run in the second to pull within 4-2. The Blue Tigers plated another run in the third to pull within 4-3.
   UCM pushed the lead back to two at 5-3 on a
Miles Orscheln RBI triple in the fifth, but Lincoln tied the game in the sixth with a two-run home run. UCM went back in front for good in the seventh, plating five runs to take a 10-5 lead.
John Fairchild hit a three-run home run and
Dylan Farrell added a solo shot for UCM.
   The Mules pushed the lead to 13-5 in the top of the ninth on a Farrell three-run shot, his second of the day.

UCM during the Crookes era•
Kyle Crookes has a 49-30 (.620) record in his second season as head coach at Central Missouri.
• The Mules went 30-22 during Crookes' first season as head coach. Ten Mules earned All-MIAA honors, including First Team honors for outfielder
Trevor Jones, who went on to earn Second Team All-Region honors as well.
• The Mules were 71-29 in Crookes' two seasons as an assistant coach and captured the 2014 MIAA Regular Season Championship. The Mules garnered five First Team All-MIAA selections and three All-America honors during his two years as an assistant.
• Crookes compiled a 292-164 overall record in eight seasons as the head coach at Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College before taking over as an assistant coach at UCM.

Mules Baseball: Winningest Team of the 2000s• The Central Missouri baseball program has had unprecedented success in the last 25 years and has been even more impressive since the year 2000. The Mules were the winningest team in all divisions of the NCAA by victories (508) and percentage (.814, 508-116) from 2000-09. That success has continued through the 2010s.
• The Mules are 777-205 (.791) since the year 2000. An average of 45 wins per season over the last 17 years.
A Tradition of Excellence in Athletics• Entering the 2015-16 academic year, Central Missouri had won a combined 205 MIAA regular season conference championships in 14 league sports to lead all schools.
• Last season, UCM captured five MIAA regular season titles, and three MIAA Tournament crowns.
