MIAA Release | MIAA Scholar-Athletes | MIAA Academic Honor Roll
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Jennies volleyball team placed 12 players on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office on Monday. In addition, five players were named MIAA Scholar-Athletes.
To earn MIAA Academic Honor Roll status, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and have completed at least two semesters at their institution. MIAA Scholar-Athlete distinction is given to those student-athletes who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have earned All-MIAA honors in their respective sport that season.
The 12 Jennies who were named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll are

Lauren Dudgeon,
Mackenzie Harding,
Maddie Jones,
Ashley Jurgens,
Molly Lawrence,
Lauren Overby,
Annie Reilly,
Carly Sojka,
Haley Thompson,
Kourtney Thompson and
Shelby Winkelmann.
Blaise, Reilly, H. Thompson, K. Thompson and Winkelmann were named MIAA Scholar-Athletes.
Newcomers (freshman and transfers) and MIAA Academic Exellence Awards will be given out following the end of the 2014-15 academic year.
The Jennies finished the season 22-9 overall, captured their second straight MIAA Championship and advanced to their 32nd straight NCAA Tournament.
