2015 • Junior: Started all 35 matches as the Jennies setter…Led the team with 1,315 assists and averaged 10.69 assists per set…Finished second in the MIAA and 26^th in the nation in assist per set… Also recorded 138 kills and 1.12 kills per set, and finished the year with a .326 attack percentage… Notched five matches with 50+ assists and set a new match high with 63 assists against Nebraska-Kearney (Oct. 24) …Logged 262 digs, fifth on the team, and had eight matches with double digit digs…Registered eight double-doubles on the year… Was All-MIAA Second Team and as an MIAA Scholar Athlete …Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll...Named MIAA Specialist of the Week (Oct.5).

2014 • Sophomore: Stepped into the starting lineup as the Jennies setter, playing in all 31 matches and 109 sets … Led the team with 1,119 assists and 10.27 assists per set … Finished fifth in the MIAA and 53rd in the nation in assists per set … Also recorded 135 kills and 1.24 kills per set, both fourth-best for the Jennies and finished the year with a .270 attack percentage … Was second with 55 total blocks and 0.50 blocks per set … Recorded 16 double-doubles … Notched six matches with 50+ assists and set a new match high with 57 against Pittsburg State (Oct. 18) … Logged 290 digs, fifth on the team and had 15 matches with double-digit digs including a career-high 21 against Northwest Missouri (Nov. 11) … Secured her first career double-digit kill match with 10 against Central Oklahoma (Nov. 8) … Named All-MIAA Second Team … Selected to both the MIAA Honor Roll and as an MIAA Scholar Athlete. 

2013 • Freshman: Appeared in 20 sets over 10 matches for the Jennies ... Recorded a season-high three assists in the win over Minnesota-Moorhead on Sept. 14 ... Also had a season-high two digs on Sept. 12 against Winona State ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for her work in the classroom.

In High School: Thompson finished her career at Blue Springs HS, under coach and Jennies Volleyball alum, Katie Grusing, with a conference and district championship during her senior season ... She earned All-Conference and All-District honors during both her junior and senior seasons, and picked up an All-Region nod following her senior season ... Earned a trip to the Mo-Kan All-Star game, where she played as a setter.

Personal: Majoring in Biology ... daughter of Kirk and Debbie Thompson.
