BRANSON, Mo. -- The Jennies Golf team finished in fourth place at the Central Missouri Invitational at Pointe Royale Golf Course on Tuesday. The Jennies are back in action March 24-25 at the Missouri Western Griffon Invitational in St. Joseph.

The Jennies fired a two-round total of 790 in their first tournament of the spring season. The tournament was put together as a replacement for the canceled William Jewell Invitational originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.

Katie Threlkeld finished in a tied for fourth place with a 186 after shooting a second round 91. Steph Charteris of Northwest Missouri took home individual medalist honors after shooting a two-round score of 166.

Krystal Martinez was the next highest Jennie in 11th place with a 194. Kayla Temple was 17th with a 205 and Liz Boatright finished in a tie for 19th with a 214. Jordan Thoreson rounded out the UCM lineup in 21st place with a 216.

Missouri Western took home the team title with a 736. They were followed by Northwest Missouri (737) and Fort Hays State (778). Southwest Baptist came in fifth with a 935.
