MONKEY ISLAND, OKLA. – The No. 33 Central Missouri women's golf team sits in a tie in fourth place after finishing round one of the Spring Region Preview on Sunday, April 5. The Jennies went 16-over par for a team score of 304 to tie with Central Oklahoma and Rogers State.
#32 Arkansas Tech leads the pack in first with a 295 for 7-over. Northwest Missouri is in second with 9-over with a 297, and Washburn is in third with 300 for 12-over after round one.
Freshman
Hannah Mottert leads the team at a tie in 14th, going 3-over par for a 75.
Ansley Giesselmann and
Kiki Bruner carded a 76 for 4-over to tie in 18th.
In a tie at 23rd,
Libby Green carded 5-over par for a score of 77.
Addy Davis carded a 79 for 7-over, tying for 44th.
Reece Nimmo, who competed individually, carded an 82, 12-over par. She sits in 62nd after the first round.
The Jennies continue the Spring Region Preview with round two on Monday, April 6, at 8:30 a.m.
