BOLIVAR, Mo. — The No. 36 Jennies Golf took first in the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational on Wednesday, March, 18. Freshman
Ansley Giesselmann won the tournament going 7-over par.
The Jens are carded a 623 (314, 309) Â for a total of 47-over par after recording a 26-over and 21-over par during the tournament. Northwest Missouri took the second slot at 60-over par followed by William Jewel in third with 77-over.
Giesselmann scored a total of 151 (75, 76) going 4-over par in the final round to hold the first place spot.
Libby Green jumped up four spots to take a tie for second after carding a 153 (78, 75) to go 9-over.Â
Addison Davis scored a 157 (79, 78) for 13-over par to finish in seventh.
Hannah Mottert tied for 10th place after going 18-over to score a 162 (82, 80).
Kiki Bruner rounded out UCM with a 164 (82, 82) to go 20-over par for a tie in 15th.Â
Reece Nimmo and
Olivia Thetford golfed individually. Nimmo taking a tie for 15th after carding a 167 (86, 81) for 23-over. Thetford went 30-over par to score 174 (89, 85) to finish in 36th.Â
