KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) announced its Women's Golfer of the Week for week three of the 2026 spring season, recognizing Central Missouri freshman
Ansley Giesselmann for her standout performance.
Giesselmann led No. 36-ranked Central Missouri to a team title at the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational, hosted by Drury University on March 18. She claimed individual medalist honors with a 36-hole total of 151 (+7), marking her first collegiate victory.
The freshman paced the field from start to finish, opening with a 75 (+3) before carding a 76 (+4) in the final round to secure the win. Her consistent play anchored the Jennies' first-place team finish of 623 (+47), as Central Missouri topped a competitive 10-team field that included Northwest Missouri and William Jewell.
