STORY LINES
• The Mules hit the road to Oklahoma for a pair of MIAA games. UCM will face Central Oklahoma on Thursday night in Edmond and then head to Tahlequah for a Saturday afternoon showdown with Northeastern State.
• The Mules are coming off a 106-74 win over Culver-Stockton on Monday night. It was the first time this season that UCM hit the century mark and the 13th time under Kim Anderson.
• Central Missouri was the preseason No. 3 pick in both the MIAA Preseason Coaches' and Media Polls. Central Oklahoma was picked to finish fifth by the league coaches and sixth in the media poll, while the RiverHawks were the preseason No. 4 selection in both polls.
• The Mules lost nearly 75 percent of their scoring and 77 percent of the rebounding from last year's team. Leading returning scorer and rebounder
Charles Hammork will sit out the first semester and return for the second semester.
QUICK HITS
• This is the 109th season of Central Missouri Mules basketball.
• Central Missouri is second all-time in NCAA Division II men's basketball with 1,594 wins.
• The Mules were 22-8 a season ago, the sixth 20-win season under Kim Anderson and the 22nd in school history.
• Last season was the 10th straight season of at least 18 wins for UCM, the longest active streak in the MIAA. The longest streak in league history is 11 seasons, held by Northwest Missouri from 1997-2008.
• Central Missouri finished 13-5 in MIAA play last year and captured a share of the MIAA regular season championship for the second straight season. It was the fifth conference crown under Anderson and 23rd in school history.
• UCM returns one all-MIAA performer from a season ago.
Charles Hammork was an honorable mention All-MIAA pick last season after averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. He was also an MIAA Tournament All-Tournament Team selection in helping the Mules to the conference tournament title.
• Three of the top nine single-season scoring leaders in UCM history have come during the 11-year tenure of head coach Kim Anderson.
SERIES HISTORY VS CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
• This will be the ninth all-time meeting between Central Missouri and Central Oklahoma with the series tied at 4-4.
• The teams split a pair of games last season with the Bronchos winning in Edmond (69-67) and the Mules claiming a 92-73 win in the MIAA Tournament semifinals in Kansas City.
• The series is tied 1-1 in Edmond with UCM's last win coming during the 1988-89 season when they swept a home-and-home series.
LAST MEETING WITH CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
• The Mules shot 50 percent from the field and made 11 three-pointers en route to a 92-73 win over Central Oklahoma in the MIAA Tournament Semifinals on March 9, 2013.
• UCM led by as many as 21 points in the first half.
•
Charles Hammork led four Mules in double figures with 16 points.
Matt Webb had 10 points and 10 rebounds.
• The Mules dished out 17 assists compared to nine turnovers. UCM turned 13 UCO turnovers into 22 points.
• Central Missouri out-rebounded the Bronchos 36-23 and held a 16-2 advantage in second chance points. The UCM bench out-scored UCO's bench 40-10.
SCOUTING THE BRONCHOS
• Central Oklahoma comes into the game at 7-2 overall and 1-1 in MIAA play after a 90-71 win at Lincoln back on December 7. UCO dropped the MIAA opener, 88-77 at Lindenwood on December 5.
• The Bronchos are shooting 44 percent for the season and are averaging 85.6 points per game. Opponents are shooting 42 percent and scoring at 78.2 points per outing.
• Josh Gibbs leads the team in scoring and rebounding with a double-double of 21.2 points and 13.8 rebounds per contest. He is third in the MIAA in scoring.
• Three other Bronchos are averaging in double figures as well. Seth Heckart averages 12.0 per game, while Aaron Anderson and Cal Andrews both chip in 10.9 points per contest.
• UCO is out-rebounding the opposition by over six boards per outing.
• The Bronchos average 12.2 turnovers per game.
SERIES HISTORY VS NORTHEASTERN STATE
• This will be just the second all-time meeting between the RiverHawks and the Mules. Central Missouri won the first meeting, 77-69, in Warrensburg on January 9 of last season.
• This will be the Mules' first ever game in Tahlequah.
LAST MEETING WITH NORTHEASTERN STATE
• The Mules held off a late rally from Northeastern State to beat the RiverHawks 77-69 on January 9, 2013.
• The Mules led by as many as 15 points in the second half before holding off the late charge from NSU.

Lance Beckwith led Central Missouri in scoring with 17 points apiece.
Widgett Washington had 15 points and six assists.
• The Mules shot 44 percent from the field, while the RiverHawks shot 50 percent. The Mules were 23 of 32 at the foul line, including 14 of 17 in the final three minutes.
SCOUTING THE RIVERHAWKS
• Northeastern State comes into the week at 7-2 overall and 2-0 in MIAA play after a pair of road conference wins at Lincoln (87-72) and at Lindenwood (83-74).
• The RiverHawks will host Missouri Western on Thursday night at 7:30 before welcoming the Mules on Saturday afternoon.
• NSU is shooting nearly 50 percent from the field and averaging 80 points per game. They give up 68.3 points per outing and 39 percent shooting from the opposition.
• The RiverHawks shoot 33 percent from three-point range and 74 percent from the free throw line. They have attempted 52 more free throws than their opponents.
• Bryton Hobbs leads the team and the MIAA averaging 24.7 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the floor. He gets to the free throw line an average of 10.4 times per game.
• Hobbs also leads the team averaging 5.1 assists per game.
• Curtis Evans is second on the team in scoring at 9.7 points per game and leads the squad pulling down 9.7 rebounds per contest.
• NSU averages just 10.0 turnovers per game
LAST TIME OUT • CENTRAL MISSOURI 106, CULVER-STOCKTON 74 • 12/16/13
WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The Central Missouri Mules shot 60 percent from the field and topped the century mark for the first time this season in a 106-74 win over Culver-Stockton on Monday night at the UCM Multipurpose Building. It's the first 100-point game for UCM since a 111-72 win over Lincoln last January.
   The Mules (9-1) fell behind 2-0, but then rattled off 16 straight points to grab the lead for good. After Culver-Stockton's (9-2) initial bucket the Mules went on a 26-4 run to grab a 20-point lead with 9:59 to play in the half. A 12-2 run by the Wildcats closed the gap to 28-16 with 6:58 left in the opening period.
   Central Missouri was able to push the lead back to 16, but couldn't pull away any further.
Kyle Wolf's layup with six seconds left in the half gave UCM a 46-32 lead at the intermission.
   The Mules stretched the lead to 23 out of the break, opening the second half on a 16-7 spurt. The Wildcats kept fighting back, however. A three-point play from James Johnson cut the lead to 17 only to see UCM hit back-to-back threes to push the lead right back to 23.
   CSC got to within 16 at the 8:27 mark at 82-66, but could get no closer. Mario Gulley's three-pointer cut the Mule lead to 87-71 with 6:02 to play, but the Mules ended the game on a 19-3 run to claim the 32-point win.

Dillon Deck led UCM with a game-high 21 points on 8 of 11 shooting.
Ryan Donald added 13 points and seven rebounds, while
Daylen Robinson and
Jordan Epps each finished with 12 points. Robinson added six assists and Epps had five.
Charles Hammork, in his first action of the season, finished with 10 points on 5 of 6 shooting, four rebounds and a pair of assists.
   The Mules were 42 of 70 from the floor and made 8 of 20 three-point attempts for 40 percent. UCM was 14 of 22 at the foul line for 63 percent. Central Missouri out-rebounded the Wildcats 44-29 and held a 42-26 advantage in points in the paint.
   Johnson led Culver-Stockton with 20 points. Gulley had 16, while Jalen Jarrett and Johnnie Mills finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively.
   CSC was 27 of 66 from the field for 40 percent, but made just 5 of 27 from beyond the arc for 18 percent. They were 15 of 23 at the charity stripe for 65 percent.
THE MULES IN MIAA PLAY
• Central Missouri is 144-63 in MIAA play during the Kim Anderson era and 1-0 this season after a thrilling 93-85 overtime win over No. 15 Fort Hays State on Thursday night.
• The Mules were 13-5 in conference play last year and won a share of the MIAA regular season title.
• The Mules' best MIAA record under Anderson was an 18-2 mark during the 2009-10 season.
• The Mules have captured five MIAA regular season championships and four MIAA tournament titles under Kim Anderson.
MULES IN NON-CONFERENCE ACTION
• The Mules are 109-28 in non-conference games during the Kim Anderson era after the win over Culver-Stockton on Monday night.
• Central Missouri is 53-1 in the last 54 non-conference games at home.
THE MULES AT HOME
• Central Missouri is 146-21 at the Multipurpose Building under Kim Anderson after beating Culver-Stockton 106-74 on Monday night.
• The Mules were 13-0 at home last season and have won 19 straight games at the Multi dating back to the 2011-12 season.
• Over the last nine years, UCM is 129-11 at home, including 53-1 against non-conference opponents and 76-10 in MIAA play.

• UCM is 64-53 on the road during the Kim Anderson after losing at St. Mary's 81-78 in overtime last Friday.

ANDERSON LEADING THE WAY
• Now in his 12th season leading the Mules, Central Missouri head coach Kim Anderson has compiled a career record of 253-91 (.735).
• His .731 winning percentage entering the 2013-14 season ranks seventh among all active NCAA Division II coaches.
• He has led UCM to five MIAA regular season titles, more than any other coach in school history, four MIAA tournament championships, two Regional championships and two Final Four appearances.
• Anderson recorded career win No. 200 with a 65-61 win against Washburn on February 9, 2011.
