WARRENSBURG, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Athletics and Impact Signs out of Sedalia, Mo., are excited to announce new state-of-the-art videoboard upgrades for both the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center and Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field on the University of Central Missouri campus.
"UCM Athletics is committed to providing our student-athletes and fans with the best game day experience possible. We are honored to partner with Impact Signs to bring this vision to life," UCM Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics
Matt Howdeshell said. "These state-of-the-art displays are another significant step in our pursuit toward making Warrensburg, the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center, and Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field one of the premier college athletics destinations in the country. We are extremely grateful to the Muleball Brothers for Life (MBBL), Central Bank of Warrensburg, Warrensburg Ford, and Warrensburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat for helping make these upgrades possible."
The Jerry M. Hughes Center received a new center-hung LED display that provides a 60 percent more LED viewing area and three times the resolution of the previous unit. Each face of the new, four-sided LED board contains an impressive 2,097,152 LEDs.
In addition, the sideline tables were also upgraded with new high-resolution video screens incorporating SMD technology and a 3.9mm pixel pitch. The tables have the same physical dimensions but will deliver twice the resolution of the previous models and feature 278,528 LEDs.

Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field is undergoing a comprehensive videoboard upgrade. The old video display measured approximately 432 square feet with a 16mm pixel pitch. The new system installed by Impact will measure 1,200 square feet with a nine mm pixel pitch, delivering substantially enhanced picture quality and viewing clarity. The video portion of the new system is approximately 178 percent larger than the previous display.

"We are extremely honored to partner with the University of Central Missouri to realize its digital and signage objectives," Impact President and CEO David Goodson said. "These advanced displays will significantly enhance the fan experience at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center and Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field, support recruiting efforts, and create new revenue opportunities for UCM Athletics."
The new videoboard inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center is already operational, while the Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field display will be ready in time for the 2026 Mules Football season.
