PITTSBURG, Kan. – University of Central Missouri Jennies Track & Field's
Myah Morris was named the Athletic Solutions "A Game" Scholar-Athlete of the 2026 MIAA Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship, it was announced on Sunday, May 3, by the conference office.
All 11 MIAA women's track and field programs are in Pittsburg, Kan., this weekend for the Association's Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted May 1-3 at Pittsburg State University's Russ Jewett Outdoor Track & Field Complex. Among the hundreds of NCAA Division II women's track and field student-athletes competing in the championship, Central Missouri's Morris was selected as the championship's "A Game" Scholar-Athlete for her performances on and off the track.
Established by the MIAA in 2022, "A Game" Scholar-Athlete Award presented by
Athletic Solutions acknowledges the overall excellence of a student-athlete by recognizing one individual who has contributed to their team's success while also achieving the highest academic standard among peers. The student-athlete honored with the "A Game" Scholar-Athlete Award must be an active member of a qualifying team and must have a minimum of two terms completed at the institution.
Morris is a redshirt junior from Watertown, S.D. She owns a perfect 4.0 grade point average with 145 credits completed as a kinesiology major. On the track, Morris is the Jennies' top-ranked triple jumper and will compete in the women's triple jump competition at the 2026 outdoor championships. Her season-best mark of 36 feet (10.97 meters) ranks No. 15 in the league.
Morris is the sixth student-athlete from Central Missouri to earn the "A Game" Scholar-Athlete honor and the first Jennie to earn the award at the Association's outdoor championship. To view past "A Game" Scholar-Athlete award winners and find more information about the award, visit

Morris and the Jennies enter the final day of the outdoor championships in sixth-place of the women's team standings. The women's triple jump competition is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 3. The MIAA will present Morris with the "A Game" Scholar-Athlete trophy during the championship's awards presentation, which will take place after the championship's final event (approximately 6:30 p.m.)
