Jennies Track & Field's Marianna Bizon Posts School Record in 1,500m Run at Brian Clay Invitational

AZUSA, Calif. -- University of Central Missouri Jennies Track & Field distance runner Marianna Bizon ran a new school record time in the women's 1,500m run late Saturday night, April 18, at the Brian Clay Invitational at Cougar Stadium. 

Bizon, a freshman from Borkowo, Poland, finished 42nd out of 168 runners in the event with a provisional, personal best, and school record time of 4:28.60. Bizon's time broke the former school record of 4:30.00 set by Connie Frank all the way back in 1986. 

UCM Track & Field is slated to return to action on Friday, April 24, at the John McDonnell Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark.
