ST. LOUIS, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Track & Field's distance squad wrapped up competition at the 2026 Washington University Distance Carnival on Friday, March 27, at Francis Field.
The Jennies'
Marianna Bizon ran a personal best time of 4:32.39 to place eighth in a field of nearly 50 runners in the women's 1,500m run. Her time ranks second-fastest in school history.
The Mules had two runners in the men's 5,000m run.
Cooper Palmer finished seventh in a field of over 230 competitors with a personal best time of 14:09.43 (third-fastest in outdoor school history), and
Alejandro Malave placed 113th with a time of 15:11.46.
UCM Track & Field continues a busy few days of competition with a trip to Bolivar, Mo., for the Southwest Baptist Invitational on Saturday, March 28.
