ST. LOUIS, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Track & Field's distance squad wrapped up competition at the 2026 Washington University Distance Carnival on Friday, March 27, at Francis Field.

The Jennies' Marianna Bizon ran a personal best time of 4:32.39 to place eighth in a field of nearly 50 runners in the women's 1,500m run. Her time ranks second-fastest in school history.

The Mules' Alejandro Malave competed in the men's 5,000m run and placed 91st in a field of nearly 250 competitors with a time of 15:11.46.

UCM Track & Field continues a busy few days of competition with a trip to Bolivar, Mo., for the Southwest Baptist Invitational on Saturday, March 28.
