BOLIVAR, Mo. – The No. 36 Jennies golf is currently in first place after the first round of the Midwest Intercollegiate Invitational at the Silo Ridge Golf Club in Bolivar, Mo., going 25-over par, and freshman Ansley Giesselman carded a 75 for 3-over par to tie.
Northwest Missouri State is in second for 35-over par, and Northeastern State is in third with 43-over par. With UCM taking the top spot after the first 18.
Giesselman led the way, followed by
Libby Green, golfing 6-over (78) par to take the sixth spot after round one. Addison Davis is tied for seventh after carding a 79 for 7-over par.
Kiki Bruner is currently tied for 10th place, going 9-over par with 81.
Hannah Mottert rounds out the team, tying in 15th, scoring 82 for 10-over par.
Reece Nimmo and
Olivia Thetford are both golfing individually. Nimmo is currently tied for 28th after carding an 86 for 14-over par. Thetford is tied in 35th, going 17-over par to score a 89 in the first day.
The Jennies will golf the final round on Wednesday, March 18th, at the Silo Ridge Golf Club in Bolivar, Mo.
