Pole Vaulters Lead Opening Day of Action for UCM Track & Field at Northwest Missouri Bearcat Invite

MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Jennies had four top 10 performances in the pole vault, leading the opening day of action for UCM Track & Field at the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Invitational on Friday, Feb. 6, inside Hughes Fieldhouse.

Jumps
  • Kaira Mannio, Haley Sexton, Sydnie Bernard, and Alaina Loman all finished in the top 10 of the women's pole vault. Mannio was third, clearing 3.57m (11-08.50), Sexton was sixth at 3.42m (11-02.50) on her second attempt, Bernard was seventh, also clearing 3.42m (11-02.50), but on her third attempt, and Loman was ninth, clearing 3.27m (10-08.75).

  • Brady Maher compiled a top 10 finish in the men's 5,000m run, placing ninth with a personal-best time of 15:20.58.
The Mules and Jennies continue competition at the Bearcat Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 7, in Maryville.
