UCM Track & Field Sending Nine Student-Athletes to NCAA-II Outdoor Championships

INDIANAPOLIS – The NCAA released its list of the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships qualifiers on Tuesday, May 13. UCM track & field has nine student-athletes on the qualification list.

The 2025 NCAA-II Outdoor Championships are scheduled for May 22-24 in Pueblo, Colo., at the CSU Pueblo Thunderbowl.

The Jennies qualified five individuals while the Mules had four individual qualifiers. 

Jennies Qualifiers:
  • Addison Throckmorton, women's javelin, 52.04m (170-9 / 1st in NCAA-II)
    • Throckmorton, a freshman from Columbia, Mo., will make her first appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • Entering the championships, she has the best mark in NCAA-II in the javelin. Her mark of 52.04m (170-9) is also a UCM school record. 
    • Throckmorton won the MIAA Javelin Conference Title May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan. 
  • Ally Fox, women's javelin, 48.03m (157-7 / 8th in NCAA-II)
    • Fox will make her inaugural appearance in the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships. 
    • Fox is coming off a fourth place finish at the MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan. 
    • Her mark of 48.03m (157-7) is second-best in school history.
  • Karsyn Kanzler, women's javelin, 47.02m (154-3 / 12th in NCAA-II)
    • Kanzler, a sophomore, will mark her first-ever appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • She finished fifth at the MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan.
    • Her mark of 47.02m (154-3) is currently third-best in school history. 
  • Rachael Molloy, women's hammer throw, 59.92m (196-7 / 8th in NCAA-II)
    • This will be Molloy's fourth appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • She is coming off a runner-up finish in the hammer at the 2025 MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan.
    • Molloy's mark of 59.92m (196-7) is second-best in school history. 
  • Madison Mears, women's shot put, 15.02m (49-3.50 / 13th in NCAA-II)
    • This will be Mears' first appearance in the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • She is coming off a third place finish in the shot put at the MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan. 
    • Her mark of 15.02m (49-3.50) is fourth-best in outdoor school history.
Mules Qualifiers:
  • Parker Wormek, men's 110m hurdles, 13.89 (15th in NCAA-II)
    • Wormek is a reigning NCAA-II National Runner-Up in the men's 110m hurdles. 
    • This will be his third appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • He is the current school record holder in the event with a time of 13.54 set last season.
  • Rawley Chard, men's 400m dash, 46.36 (9th in NCAA-II)
    • This will be Chard's second appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • He was a member of the Mules' 4x100m relay that was the National Runner-Up at last season's outdoor championships.
    • Chard is coming off a second place finish in the 400m dash at the MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan., posting a school record time of 46.36. 
  • Wyatt Irwin, men's high jump, 2.12m (6-11.5 / 9th in NCAA-II)
    • This will be Irwin's inaugural appearance at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships.
    • He is coming off a third place finish in the high jump at the MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan.
    • His mark of 2.12m (6-11.5) set at the Ward Haylett Invitational May 9 is ninth-best in outdoor school history.
  • Landon Mason, men's discus, 54.00m (177-2 / 20th in NCAA-II)
    • Mason will compete in the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships for the first time in his career May 22-24 in Pueblo.
    • He is coming off a third place showing at the MIAA Outdoor Championships May 2-4 in Emporia, Kan.
    • His mark of 177-2 set at the Rock Chalk Classic April 26 is seventh-best in school history.
