CRETE, Neb. – University of Central Missouri Track & Field wrapped up the opening day of action at the 2025 Happy Holidays Multi-Event Meet on Sunday, Dec. 7, on the Doane University campus.

Day One Highlights

• Kristen Jones and Marah Klover both tallied top-five finishes in the women's indoor pentathlon. Jones posted a personal-best tally of 3,546 points to place second, while Klover also had a personal-best with 3,085 points, finishing fourth. Jones's total of 3,546 is also an NCAA-II provisional mark.
• Jones finished second in the 60m hurdles (personal-best 9.32), long jump (personal-best 5.86m [19-02.75]), and 800m run (personal-best 2:31.24), placed third in the high jump (personal-best 1.57m [5.01.75]), and was fifth in the shot put (personal-best 9.62m [13-06.75]) for her 3,546 points in the event.
• Klover had top-five finishes in three of five events, placing third in the high jump (1.57m [5-01.75]) and shot put (personal-best 10.24m [33-07.25]), and fourth in the 800m run (2:34.34). She was seventh in the 60m hurdles (personal-best 9.90) and ninth in the long jump (4.66m [15-03.50]) for her 3,085 points.
• Competing in her first meet at UCM, Journey Sander placed eighth in the indoor pentathlon with 2,718 points.
• In the men's heptathlon, Jesus Flores leads the Mules through four out of seven events with 2,906 points (second place). Owen Koski is in fifth (2,613 points), and Gavin Lohse is in sixth (2,473 points).
• Flores finished in the top-three in each event Sunday, placing second in the high jump (personal-best 2.01m [6-07.00]), and third in the 60m dash (personal-best 7.21), long jump (personal-best 6.50m [21-04.00]), and shot put (personal-best 11.68m [38-04.00]) to lead the Mules with his 2,906 points.
• Flores, Koski, and Lohse will conclude the heptathlon Monday morning, Dec. 8, with the 60m hurdles, pole vault, and 1,000m run.
