FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Grizell Scarlett and
Michenainda Aritus paced University of Central Missouri Track & Field at the Arkansas Qualifier on Friday, Feb. 20, inside the Randal Tyson Track Center.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Scarlett ran a provisional and personal best time of 7.25 to win the women's 60m dash. Her time breaks her previous school record time set earlier this season and is the best time in the 60m dash in NCAA Division II so far this season.
Jumps
- Aritus finished fourth in the women's long jump with a provisional and personal-best mark of 6.13m (20-01.50). Her mark is second-best in indoor school history by just 0.25 inches and ranks in the top 10 in NCAA-II this season. Kristen Jones also posted a provisional mark in the long jump, placing seventh with a mark of 5.83m (19-01.50).
- Zachary Proctor was second in the men's high jump, clearing a provisional height of 2.06m (6-09.00), just a half-inch shy of his personal best.
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to compete in the 2026 MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships Feb. 27-March 1 inside the Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kan.
