ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Central Missouri Mules Golf sits runner-up after the first round of the NCAA-II Central/Midwest Regional Championship at St. Joseph CC Thursday, May 8. The Mules shot a team opening round of 290 (+6) to finish in second after day one. Central Oklahoma currently leads the tournament with a team score of 280 (-4).
The Mules were led by senior Calvin Dillon who posted a first round 69 (-3) to sit in the runner-up position after the opening round.
Tied for 13th is sophomore CJ Phillips and junior Jack Hope who both shot an opening round 72 (+1), freshman Lawson Barks sits in a tie for 70th with an opening round 77 (+6), and senior Alex Gentry is tied for 107th with an opening round 83 (+12) to round out the mules scoring.Â
The Mules will play the second round of the three-day event Friday, May 9.
