2024-25: Barks had a stellar performance this season, averaging 74.06 over 35 rounds and 12 events…At The MIAA Men’s Golf Championship, he earned a top-10 finish with one under par for a total of 215 (70-74-71) for an eighth-place tie…His best finish was at the Tulsa Cup (October 28-29) with a fifth-place finish with a three-round, five over par 221 (78-69-74)…He won the MIAA Freshman of the Year after finishing in the top 15 in three events throughout the season, including the Tulsa Cup (fifth-place tie), Oak Tree Invitation (224, +14 (78-72-74) 15th place tie), and the MIAA Men’s Golf Championship (8th place tie).

Personal 
Barks is a native of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and is majoring in Sports Management….Barks won the 2025 Ozark Invitational, with nine under par and the third lowest score in the history of the Invitational.
