JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Central Missouri Mules Golf finished second at the MIAA Golf Championships at Jefferson City CC Wednesday, April 23. The Mules (293,283) finished their tournament with a final round 18-hole score of 285 to finish with a 54-hole total of 861 (-3). Central Oklahoma won the tournament with a 54-hole total of 857 (-7).

The Mules were led by freshman
Lawson Barks (70,74) who posted a final round 71 to finish in a tie for eighth with a 54-hole total of 215 (-1). Barks also earned MIAA Freshman of the Year honors for his performance on the course this year.

Sophomore
CJ Phillips (72,72) finished 12th after posting a final round 18-hole 72 to finish with a 54-hole total of 216 (Even-par) and earn All-MIAA Honors, senior
Alex Gentry (77,66) finished in a tie for 13th after posting a final round 74 to finish with a 54-hole total of 217 (+1).

Calvin Dillon (75,71) finished in a tie for 16th after posting a final round 72 to finish with a 54-hole total of 218 (+2), and junior
Jack Hope (76,78) finished tied for 33rd after shooting a final round 70 to finish with a 54-hole total of 224 (+8) to round out the Mules scoring.

Andrew Whittaker (70,76) competed as an individual and finished in a tie for 13th after posting a final round 71 to finish with a 54-hole total of 217 (+1).
