INDIANAPOLIS -- University of Central Missouri Jennies track & field's
Rachael Molloy finished fourth in the women's weight throw to secure First Team All-America honors, highlighting the second day of competition for UCM track & field at the NCAA-II Indoor Championships Friday, March 14, inside Fall Creek Pavilion.
Molloy, a redshirt senior from Carrollton, Mo., launched a personal-best throw of 19.65m (64-05.75) on her fifth attempt to secure fourth place and post her third-career All-America honor in the event, as she was also an All-American in 2024 and 2023. Her mark of 64-05.75 ranks second-best in school history.
In the women's long jump, the Jennies'
Mellanie Nellmer placed 14th with a mark of 5.67m (18-07.25) while the Mules'
Parker Wormek narrowly missed qualifying for the men's 60m hurdles final after running 7.63 in the prelims to finish fourth in his heat.
UCM will wrap up competition in the NCAA-II Indoor Championships Saturday, March 15, with
Reagan Ulrich competing in the men's pole vault final,
Rawley Chard competing in the men's 400m dash final and the Mules 4x400m relay of
Brayden Blackman,
Isaak Rasche,
Yunus Altinay and Chard competing in the relay final.
