ST. PAUL, Minn. – Starting pitcher
Conner Wolf was named the Central Region Pitcher of the Year and joined four fellow Mules Baseball student-athletes who were named to the 2024 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Teams, it was announced Thursday, May 23.

A junior right-hander from Tipton, Mo., and the 2024 MIAA Pitcher of the Year, Wolf is a perfect 11-0 on the mound in 16 appearances and 15 starts with a 4.20 ERA and four complete games this season. He has allowed just 40 earned runs on 76 hits with 80 strikeouts and only 15 walks in 85 2/3 innings pitched.
Van Breusegen, the 2024 MIAA Player of the Year and a redshirt senior who hails from Columbia, Ill., is hitting .380 with 76 hits, 69 runs, 13 doubles, five triples, a team-high 21 homers, 68 RBIs, a team-best .810 slugging percentage, 36 walks, a .478 on-base percentage, and 18 stolen bases in 57 games this season.
A redshirt junior and All-MIAA First Team honoree from Lee's Summit, Mo., Young is hitting .377 with a team-high 84 runs, 89 hits and 23 doubles, going along with five triples, 16 home runs, 61 RBIs, a .720 slugging percentage, 47 walks, a .481 on-base percentage and 29 stolen bases in his 57 games played in 2024.
Patrick, a redshirt junior and All-MIAA First Team selection from Kansas City, Mo., has a .364 batting average with 57 runs, 63 hits, six doubles, three triples, 11 homers, 42 RBIs, a .624 slugging percentage, 34 walks, a .477 on-base percentage and 19 stolen bases in 51 games played this season.
A junior from O'Fallon, Mo., Heath is hitting a team-best .393 with 53 runs, 55 hits, 12 doubles, 15 home runs, 57 RBIs, a .800 slugging percentage, 24 walks, a .483 on-base percentage and six stolen bases in 50 games this season. In addition, Heath has thrown out 14 runners attempting to steal in 2024.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-America and All-Region Baseball Teams are sponsored by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). The teams are voted on by the members of D2SIDA, NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors Association.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies, and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
