TIP OFF 
  • Central Missouri Mules basketball concludes the MIAA regular season with a pair of games hosting the Rogers State Hillcats (Thursday, Feb. 29) at 7:30 p.m. before taking on the Northeastern State RiverHawks (Saturday, Mar. 2) for Senior Day with tip-off scheduled for 3:00 p.m. inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
  • Thursday's game is a White Out game. All UCM fans are encouraged to wear white to the contest. 
  • Saturday's game will be Senior Day for the Mules. The team will honor its seniors in a pregame ceremony at center court.
  • For Saturday's games vs. Northeastern State, any fan who brings their ticket from Thursday's (Feb. 29) games vs. Rogers State will receive one (1) FREE GENERAL ADMISSION ticket. This offer is valid for any ticket purchased, GA and Reserved, from Thursday's game. Meaning buy a GA or Reserved ticket Thursday, get a free GA ticket Saturday. Reserved tickets will not be given out free of charge Saturday. This offer can only be claimed by bringing the 2/29 ticket into the 3/2 game (not available online).   • Both games will be broadcasted on 1450 KOKO, 98.5 The Bar and warrensburgradio.com with the voice of the Mules Greg Hassler and former Mules head basketball coach Kim Anderson on the call.
  • All games will be streamed through the MIAA Network on a pay-per-view basis with coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening and 3:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
  
MEET THE MULES
  • Adam Bohac was named the 25th head coach in the 118-year history of Central Missouri Mules basketball in March of 2023 after 15 seasons as head coach of the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm where he had an overall record of 312-146 including 221-98 in GAC play. Bohac's teams have made nine post season appearances including four of the previous six seasons being in the NCAA Tournament. In 2022-23, the Storm reached the Sweet Sixteen and in 2019-20 were a two-seed in the tournament.  
  • The Mules are coming into 2023 with eleven of their 15 student-athletes having never stepped on the court for UCM.
  • Central Missouri returns four players from last year's team including guard Jordan Hayes and forwards Jack Chapman, Ben Fritz, and Yafet Haile.
  • The Mules brought in Division I transfers Caleb Nero (North Dakota) and Keith Kinner III (Niagara).
  • Other transfers include Jalen Knott (Alderson Broaddus), Terrance Broughton (Malone), Raeshaun Ambris (Moberly Area CC), and Josh Nwankwo (New Mexico JC).
  • The Mules added five freshman including guards KJ Vasser, Corey Skillman Jr., and Max Dowling, plus, forwards Noah Martin and Tim Jordan Jr.
  
LAST TIME OUT 
  • The Central Missouri Mules (11-15, 6-14) fell to the Washburn Ichabods (17-9, 13-7) by a final score of 68-49 on Saturday afternoon inside Lee Arena in Topeka.
  • The Mules began the contest on a 7-2 run, but Washburn responded with a run of their own and never relinquished the lead picking up their 13th MIAA win of the season led by guard Jarmell Johnson's 14 points and five rebounds.
  • Central Missouri was paced offensively by redshirt senior Keith Kiner III who had a game-high 14 points adding a team-best six rebounds while guard Jalen Knott added 12 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
  • Redshirt senior Jordan Hayes (four rebounds, two assists, and two steals), forward Noah Martin (career-high five rebounds), and junior Jack Chapman (two rebounds) ended the contest with six points each. Guard Caleb Nero contributed three points, two rebounds, and two assists while junior Yafet Haile had four rebounds, a career-high three blocks, and two points on the afternoon.
 
 UCM BY THE NUMBERS 
  • Through 26 games this season, the Mules are averaging 62 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field, including 31 percent from beyond the arc and 70 percent from the charity stripe.
  • Central Missouri is averaging 33.5 rebounds, 10 assists, six steals, and three blocks per contest.
  • The Mules have three players averaging double figure scoring this season including redshirt senior Keith Kiner III (12 points and five rebounds per game), guard Jalen Knott (11.5 points, four rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per contest), and freshman Tim Jordan Jr. (11 points, 4.5 rebounds, and one assist per game).
  
SERIES HISTORY VS ROGERS STATE
  • Thursday night's contest will be the seventh meeting all-time between the Hillcats and UCM with Rogers State leading the series 4-2 following a 70-64 victory earlier this season in Claremore, Okla.   
  • Forward Keith Kiner III paced UCM offensively with a game-high 25 points and a team-best seven rebounds while redshirt senior Jordan Hayes ended the contest with 12 points and two rebounds.
  • The Mules improved to 2-0 against RSU in Warrensburg after last season's 78-77 OT victory (Jan. 14) thanks to a career-high 20 points from guard Trey Sides while sophomore Ben Fritz (15 points, two rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a career-best two blocks) and guard Kobe Campbell (14 points and four rebounds) scored in double figures.   
 
SERIES HISTORY VS NORTHEASTERN STATE
  • Ahead of Saturday's matchup, the Mules hold an 8-7 overall record in the series following a 55-45 UCM win earlier this season in Tahlequah, Okla.
  • UCM had three players finish the game in double figures including guard Corey Skillman Jr.'s game-high 14 points while freshman Tim Jordan Jr. (11 points, three rebounds, and two assists), and guard Jalen Knott (10 points, seven rebounds, and two assists).
