 TIP OFF 
  • Central Missouri Mules basketball continues the 2024-25 season with a trio of contests beginning with the DoubleTree Thanksgiving Classic as they take on the Illinois-Springfield Prairie Stars on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 3:15 p.m. before taking on the Drury Panthers Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 7:45 p.m. from the O'Reilly Event Center in Springfield, Mo. before hosting the Tabor Bluejays on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 5:00 p.m. from the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
  • The Mules fell to the Quincy Hawks by a final score of 68-65 on Thursday, Nov. 21, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg paced by guard Kyran Tilley's 16 points and five rebounds while Overland Park, Kan. native Jack Chapman added 14 points and four boards on the night. 
  • This is the 119th season of Central Missouri Basketball as the Mules are the third winningest program in Division II with 1,765 victories having won two NCAA Men's National Championships (1984 & 2014) and four National Championships (1937 & 1938 NAIB) overall.

  • Tuesday's game against the Prairie Stars will be broadcasted on 1450 KOKO, 98.5 The Bar and warrensburgradio.com with the voice of the Mules Greg Hassler and former Mules head basketball coach Kim Anderson on the call.
  • Sunday's matchup at home against Tabor will be broadcasted on 1450 KOKO, 98.5 The Bar and warrensburgradio.com featuring UCM Sports Radio Network contributor Dr. Joe Moore on the call.
  • All three contests will be available on a pay-per-view basis through the GLVC Network on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday evening and the MIAA Network on Sunday night.
 
 
MEET THE MULES
  • Adam Bohac enters his second season as head coach of the Mules after finishing last season with a 13-15 overall record including 8-14 in the MIAA highlighted by two All-Conference performers in Tim Jordan Jr. (Honorable Mention) and Jordan Hayes (All Defensive Team).
  • The Mules are coming into the 2024-25 campaign with seven of their 14 student-athletes having never stepped on the court for UCM.
  • Central Missouri returns six players from last year's team including guard Corey Skillman Jr. while returning forwards Tim Jordan Jr., Jack Chapman, Yafet Haile, Noah Martin, and Josh Nwankwo. 
  • The Mules brought in Division I transfer KJ Lee (Western Illinois), plus, Division II additions in DeAirius Barker (Charleston), Eain Mowat (Southern Nazarene), and Elijah Farr (Lincoln).
  • Central Missouri added three freshmen in guards Kyran Tilley (Louisville, Ky.) and Jake Fritz (Overland Park, Kan.), plus, forward Kyree Polk (Denver, Colo.).
 

LAST TIME OUT 
  • The Central Missouri Mules (2-2, 0-0 MIAA) fell to the Quincy Hawks (3-2, 0-0 GLVC) by a final score of 68-65 on Thursday, Nov. 21, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
  • The Mules trailed by a pair at the break as freshman Kyran Tilley (team-high 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists overall) led the team with eight points while forwards Tim Jordan Jr. (eight points and four rebounds) and Jack Chapman (14 points, four rebounds, and two assists) had five points each.
  • The Hawks never relinquished the lead en route to picking up their third win of the season aided by guard El Sieger's game-high 21 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
  • Forward Elijah Farr grabbed a team-high six rebounds adding 12 points and two assists, while senior DeAirius Barker ended the contest with 13 points going 4-for-8 from the floor including 2-of-5 from beyond the arc.
 
 
UCM BY THE NUMBERS 
  • Through four contests this season, the Mules are averaging 70 points per game while shooting 45 percent from the field, including 32 percent from beyond the arc and 69 percent from the charity stripe.
  • Central Missouri is averaging 32 rebounds, 11.5 assists, seven steals, and four blocks per contest so far this season.
  • The Mules feature two players averaging 10 points or more per game this season including forward Tim Jordan Jr. (14.5 points and three rebounds) and senior DeAirius Barker (13 points and four assists).
 
 
SERIES HISTORY VS ILLINOIS-SPRINGFIELD
  • Tuesday afternoon's contest will be the second meeting all-time between the Prairie Stars and UCM following a Mules 77-65 win in November of 2018 inside the Mulipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
  • Central Missouri's Jafar Kinsey scored a game-high 21 points while Matt Wilkinson added 20 points. 
 

SERIES HISTORY VS DRURY
  • Wednesday night's contest will be the first meeting all-time between the Panthers and UCM.
 

SERIES HISTORY VS TABOR
  • Sunday night's contest will be the fourth meeting all-time between the Bluejays and UCM dating back to the 2007-08 season with the Mules leading the series 3-0 following a 77-62 victory in November of 2014 inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg.
  • Central Missouri's Dillon Deck led the team with 12 points while Brennen Hughes added 10 points and three rebounds. 
 

UP NEXT FOR THE MULES
  • Central Missouri begins conference play on Thursday, Dec. 5, as they take on the Fort Hays State Tigers (1-2, 0-0 MIAA) beginning at 7:30 p.m. inside Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays, Kan.
