EDMOND, Okla. – University of Central Missouri Jennies softball's Ashlyn Cook was voted to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Second Team, announced on Tuesday, May 16.
 
This is Cook's second time earning D2CCA All-Central Region Second Team honors after being named a 2021 selection. The Lee's Summit, Mo. native was a 2023 First Team All-MIAA selection outfielder ending the season with a .333 batting average, 36 runs scored, a team-high 14 doubles, six home runs and 35 RBI starting in all 54 games for the Jens.
 
Cook ends her storied career at Central Missouri tied for the most games played in program history at 225 and has the second most hits with 223 after becoming the sixth player to surpass 200 career hits earlier this season.
