WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Central Missouri Jennies track & field's
Madi Wulfekotter set a new school record in the pole vault to highlight numerous strong performances by UCM track & field at the annual Outdoor Mule Relays Friday, April 14, at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
Pole Vault
- Wulfekotter won the women's pole vault with her school-record and personal-best mark of 4.27m (14-0.00) on her first attempt. Her mark is the top height in NCAA Division II this season.
- The Mules finished 1-2 in the men's pole vault, with Jack Hodge claiming first with a personal-best and provisional height of 5.28m (17-3.75) and Reagan Ulrich finishing second with a provisional mark of 5.08m (16-8.00). Hodge's height is the sixth-best in school history.
Jumps
- The Jennies swept the podium in the women's long jump. Claire Luallen finished first with a UCM personal-best and provisional mark of 5.99m (19-8.00) while Kayla Goodwin was runner-up with a provisional 5.96m (19-6.75) and Maggie Klover third with a personal-best 5.73m (18-9.75). Luallen's mark is fourth-best in school history while Goodwin's mark is fifth best.
- Evans Yamoah won the men's high jump with a provisional mark of 2.12m (6-11.50).
- Loch Louis was the runner-up in the men's long jump with a personal-best 6.85m (22-5.75).
Throws
- Rachael Molloy won the women's hammer throw with a provisional and personal-best throw of 59.37m (194-10). Her throw is the second-best in program history.
- Addison Snowball placed first in the men's discus, recording a provisional mark of 55.11m (180-10).
- Trenton Flug finished runner-up in the men's javelin with a provisional and personal-best mark of 62.33m (204-6). His mark second-best in school history.
Sprints/Hurdles
- The Mules finished 1-2 in the men's 100m dash with Antonio Lay running a provisional time of 10.26 to win the event and Ariel Kerr posting a provisional and personal-best time of 10.45 to take second. Kerr's time is fourth-fastest in school history.
- Brooklynn Holtman ran a personal-best 24.98, placing second in the women's 200m dash.
- Jana Shawver was the runner-up in the women's 800m run, clocking a time of 2:13.83.
Distance
- The Mules went 2-3 in the men's 1,500m run. Brian Mitei ran a personal-best 3:53.43 to place second while Paul Korir was third with a personal-best 3:54.93.
- Cooper Palmer posted a personal-best 31:22.73, winning the men's 10,000m run.
- Colton Palmer ran 10:04.05 as he finished third in the men's 3,000m steeplechase.
- McKenzie Bergman ran 39:07.27 to place second in the women's 10,000m run.
Relays
Central Missouri track & field is scheduled to return to action Saturday, April 22, at the Pittsburg State Tune Up in Pittsburg, Kan.
