Three UCM Track & Field Student-Athletes Earn All-American Honors on Day 1 of NCAA-II Indoor Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Three University of Central Missouri track & field student-athletes earned All-American honors on day one of the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships Friday, March 10, inside the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

The second and final day of action is slated for Saturday, March 11, in Virginia Beach.
Pole Vault
  • Madi Wulfekotter captured her third-career All-American honor in the women's pole vault, finishing third after clearing a season-best height of 4.05m (13-03.50) on her first attempt.
Throws
  • Rachael Molloy earned her first-career All-American accolade in the women's weight throw, placing eighth with a mark of 18.55m (60-10.50) on her sixth and final attempt.
Jumps
  • Kayla Goodwin tallied her fifth overall All-American honor and first accolade in the women's long jump after finishing eighth with a personal-best indoor mark of 5.89m (19-04.00) on her second attempt. Her mark ranks third-best in school history.
Multi-Events
  • Trey Miller sits in 10th place with four of seven events completed in the men's heptathlon. Miller has 2,925 points after finish seventh in the 60m dash and shot put, sixth in the long jump and 13th in the high jump. The pole vault, 60m hurdles and 1,000m run are scheduled for Saturday morning.
